Installing Solar Panels
Many people tend to ignore the cost of installing solar panels when they plan to buy solar panels for their home. Most of the time the vendors shows only the prices of the equipment and most of them don’t handle the installation of the equipment.

There are 2 main types of solar panles: thermic solar panels for warming water and photovoltaic solar panels for producing electricity. For both of them the installation procedure is the same.
In order to determine the cost for installing solar panel you need to identify the place where to install them. There are a few ways of installing the solar panels for your home:
- on the roof of house - mounting the solar panels on house is the most convenient and frequent but in the same time is the most difficult. When installling solar panels on the house it’s better to contract a specialised firm to mount the panels, because it envolves some risks and if not done correclty it can produce damage to the roof. The required materials cosist in supports for the solar panels, parts to fix the solar panels on the roof and cables or pipes to link the panels to the main installation.
- near the house - if for various reasons is not possible to mount them on the house the panels can be installed somewhere near the house where is enough place; the place should not be shadowed by trees or other buildings. The solar panels used to warm water might require an additional pump to circulate the water between the panel and the main installation.
Once you decide to the place where to mount them all you have to do is to contact a local firm to find out the cost of installation. It’s not recommended to do it yourself if you want to put it on your house.
